Dear Ben,
Today is your third birthday. We love you so much.
You spent the night with your Granny last night, and she let you do whatever you wanted to do today. Parker gave you a flag today for your birthday. We all played outside in the waterhose until it was time to catch fireflies and search for stars. You had to have your third bath of the day before bed, and then you crawled into our bed. I can hear you breathing beside me, and your soft feet are resting on my leg. You are such a darling baby and I am so thankful that you are ours.
