The Feagins Family of Five

This is a place where I write about the journeys and adventures of our precious family. Joe and I are just two normal people, who met and fell in love. We have the privilege of sharing our lives with three precious boys: Parker, Ben, and Andy.

Making Memories

Last Saturday, we loaded up Andy and Ben and headed out on an adventure. We didn't have a plan. Parker was spending the day with his grandmother, and we wanted the little boys to have a special day too. We decided to start our day in Morristown, TN. This little town is experiencing a revitalization of their downtown area. Although there wasn't much to see, it was an adorable and yummy visit. We stopped by Yummy Cakes & More and had some delicious cupcakes and gelato.

The downtown has an upper and lower level. It will really be cute in a few years when it is bustling with business
It really was a neat, old town to visit. I loved the remnants of days gone by you could see as you walked along the sidewalks.

When we finished in Morristown, we headed over to Briarwood Safari Adventure. We loved seeing the buffalo, deer, elk, llamas, and emu. Andrew kept yelling, "I love these dogs and horses!" We need to get him out more.
When we finished at Briarwood, we weren't yet ready to head home. We headed towards Newport and found a little drive up diner for lunch. Picnic Time!

After lunch, we needed to cool off so we headed towards Cades Cove. Along the way we stopped to check out a little waterfall, and then we hit the creek over at Cades Cove.

When we finished there we headed back to Knoxville, we wrapped up our adventure with dinner at the Sunspot. Needless to say, when we got home we were ready for bed. It was a great, unplanned adventure.
