This has been a tough week. In the last 10 days, each boy has been sick and has been at the pediatrician's office at least twice. I'm tired, they are all tired, Joe is tired...we are tired.
However, I was spending some time oohing and aahhing over my beautiful baby boy this week and thinking about his role in our family. Parker is our firstborn, he is our worrier, he is analytical, he is a perfectionist and he is very, very sweet. Ben is our second, our middle child, our hilarious son, he keeps our arms full (not just a handful), he is our helper, he is curious and he is very, very sweet. Andrew has a special role.
There are five of us now in the Feagins Family. We do not all like macaroni and cheese, but some of us do. We do not all like road trips, but some of us do. We do not all like Wizards of Waverly Place, but some of us do. We do not all want chocolate chips in our pancakes, bubbles in our bathtub or mint toothpaste. Some of us like playing in the backyard better than the front. Some of like to turn right at the walking path, some of us left. Showers trump baths for some of us. However, there is ONE thing we all agree on.
Andrew's little smile and laugh is the sweetest and most desired noise in the world right now.
