The Feagins Family of Five

This is a place where I write about the journeys and adventures of our precious family. Joe and I are just two normal people, who met and fell in love. We have the privilege of sharing our lives with three precious boys: Parker, Ben, and Andy.

Strange Weather, Beautiful Moments

We live in a place where the weather changes so rapidly it's almost unbelievable. It can be 80 degrees one day and then two days later, freakishly cold. Things were no different when we had REALLY cold weather this past Halloween. We were trick or treating in the Island Home community for the first time, the combination of that charming, old neighborhood and the frigid temps made us feel like we were in a Disney Halloween Movie.

This is what the weather looked like the weekend of Halloween this year:

These are a few shots of the boys trick or treating that Friday night. Joe was a lumberjack, Parker was a blood drop, Ben was a wiggly toothed ninja, and Andy chose super-hero elf.

We parked at our friends' Danny and Nikki's house in the Island Home community. We were overwhelmed by the amount of effort it takes to give out candy there on Halloween. Look at this load of candy!

The next morning we woke up to news that there was snow in the mountains. Although the valley was clear, we loaded up and headed to the hills. I really wanted to see the contrast of fall leaves and snow. Mother Nature did not disappoint. Joe and I both sucked in our breath with every curve, it was just so beautiful.
