Cabbage Rolls!!
One cabbage
2lbs ground beef
1 onion
1 cup of rice
seasonings (brown sugar, salt, pepper, basil, garlic, thyme, ...whatever you dream of)
1 can of diced tomatoes
1 can of tomato sauce
1/2 cup of sugar
Cut around the bottom of the cabbage to free the leaves, then place in simmering water. As the leaves soften, remove with tongs. Mix cooked rice, raw meat, chopped onions and spices together. Then make little cabbage babies with the leaves, be sure to cut off the stiff part at the bottom. Spray a 9x13 pan and lay them all together. Mix the tomatoes, sauce and sugar together and pour them over the top. Bake covered with foil for an hour at 350 degrees.
